The Gachon University Gil Medical Center made its first start of the progress to the future, holding 'Take-off 2008, Vision Declaration' at Gachon Hall in Emergency Center, on July 1, 2003.

'Take-off 2008' was named after our goal that was to be the best medical center in northeast Asia in 2008, when our 50th anniversary would be held.
In order to achieve our aim, we will strive to be a new model of hospital growth in every respect of medicine technology, education, research and medical care, based on the mission : 'Philanthropy, Public Service, Patriotism', with the vision : 'Health Hub in Asia; Human-oriented hospital, Competitive service, Rationalization of management'.
