Hospitals are the places where the most precious thing in the whole world, human life is being saved and preserved. Also they are the places where benevolent art is being performed. Therefore, neither a single trivial mistake nor a moment of laziness or apathy is acceptable.
We have a huge number of highly qualified medical staff members. Owing to them, we were able to become one of the leading university hospitals in less than half a century. A medical school's or university hospital's main objective is to train and educate medical doctors in the best techniques available, while imbuing them with a sense of compassion. This is also true of Gachon University and Gil Medical Center. We devote our resources to equip ourselves to the international standards with your love and encouragement.
However, our higher dimension of educational objective is to foster "medical doctors with warm hearts!". We do not believe one can be a "true" doctor even with a high degree of medical skill and ability unless the doctor has a genuine love and care for mankind.
